Capacity Building
Capacity building activities enhance the ability of youth and youth organisations to engage meaningfully in developments efforts in their communities on local, regional and/or global level. Firstly, Young Peace Brigades organizes trainings in cooperation with our community partners and volunteers in our catchments areas members. Capacity building projects are implemented by a project coordination team, usually volunteers, in cooperation with members and partners in the region of the activity.

Advocacy
Advocacy aims to promote the role of youth in sustainable development. Since 2003 Young Peace Brigades promotes the role of youth in fostering a Culture of sustainable development. Advocacy activities try to influence the agendas and programmes of metropolitan, municipal and district local governments and non-governmental organisations in relation to the involvement of youth as protagonists and partners.
